You know, though I’m terribly loyal to my own alma mater, Berkeley, and my grad school, Wharton, I have to admit to watching MIT over the past few years with admiration.

First, there was MIT OpenCourseWare, which is simply awesome on so many levels.

Then today, MIT Faculty unanimously voted to make research available for public distribution.

Students: win
Researchers: win
Society: wins
MIT Community: proud

Way to go, MIT!

Saw an article on CNN.com, that reminded me of a story I read while waiting for a haircut in SoHo a few years back.

Read this, then this. Crazy.

Finally getting around to creating a blog for myself.  Sorry for any mistakes – installing/learning/writing is made a bit more difficult when one is distracted by NCAA basketball.

Anyway, welcome to my blog.  More to come!
